YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
In order to provide the Pressburst service, Pressburst requires your name, email address and basic contact details. We collect this when you register for the service, or if you contact us for technical support, or if a colleague adds you as a secondary user to the service. We require this information in order to provide you with access to the Pressburst system, to provide technical support, and to manage your account.
INFORMATION FROM OTHERS
When you upload information to Pressburst, you do so as an Authorised User on behalf of the Customer (who is normally your employer organisation). Data you upload, such as news stories, job vacancies, events, press releases and press contacts, can be viewed, edited and deleted by other Authorised Users in your organisation. As outlined in 6.1 of the Terms and Conditions, the Customer shall be responsible for any Authorised User's acts or omissions in connection with the Services.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you use Pressburst to upload or manage content, we collect standard internet log information (including the type of web browser being used to access Pressburst and the operating system) along with geo-location, as we – through our subprocessors – collect and process the IP address of all devices which use our services. We do this in order to be able to provide technical support and to perform analysis on the use of Pressburst in order to compile aggregated statistics. Some aspects of your use of Pressburst will be linked to your login ID which enable us to provide support and identify errors with the system. We also do this in order to identify Authorised Users whom we may contact to recommend further use of – or ways to improve use of – the Pressburst service.
When you publish content from Pressburst we also collect data on how often it is viewed on Pressburst and/or our Channel Partner websites and/or via our widgets, portals and API. This data collection enables us to monitor usage patterns, improve the service and provide technical support.
In order to collect log information and enable all the features of Pressburst to function correctly, we need to store cookies on your browser.
